Percy
One morning, as I was hurrying to get ready for work, my five- year-old son, Jamie, was crying that his pet poodle, Percy, had got out of the house and was running towards the highway.
Percy loved riding in the car, so I told Jamie to go out to the carport and open the car door, and Percy would come back.
“No, he won’t!” he sobbed. “He knows I can’t drive that car!”
